“NFIB” Young Entrepreneur Awards Fund for Graduating High School Seniors

Supporting the NFIB’s Young Entrepreneur Awards fund was a proud moment for Greg Brown, president of W.W. Cannon, Inc.

The NFIB Young Entrepreneur Awards program was established to raise awareness among the nation’s youth of the critical role that private enterprise and entrepreneurship play in the building of America.

Each year the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) received multiple applications for the Young Entrepreneur Awards program.  Eligible high school senior recipients must demonstrate their entrepreneurial initiative and currently run their own small business.

Since 2003, the NFIB Young Entrepreneur Foundation has awarded over 2,500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors totaling more than $2.5 million.

Supporters of Youth Entrepreneurship:
You can also sponsor one of the Young Entrepreneur Award scholarships. Each $1,000 donation will provide a scholarship for one young entrepreneur specifically in the state of your choosing.

With a $1,000 donation, the Award will be named after you or your business which will be recognized both on the NFIB website and in NFIB’s MyBusiness Magazine. A Young Entrepreneur Award is not a direct investment in a student’s business. Rather, it provides financial assistance for a student to attend post-secondary schooling, to continue their entrepreneurial education.

The National Federation of Independent Business Young Entrepreneur Foundation announced the 2014 NFIB Young Entrepreneur Award Winners, a scholarship program designed to reward and encourage entrepreneurial talents among high school students. A list of the 2014 Young Entrepreneur Award winners and videos about our top 5 Young Entrepreneur Award winners can be found here.

The NFIB Young Entrepreneur Award program is administered by International Scholarship and Tuition Services Inc. This assures complete impartiality in the selection of recipients and maintains a high level of professionalism.
