Routine Safety Maintenance for Pallet Rack Systems in warehouses, distribution centers and manufacturing plant environments can ensure safety of employees, valuable inventory, as well as boost productivity, and company moral.
The Reynolds Company corporate operations manager, Randy Levi called Greg Brown, president of W.W. Cannon to address the safety situation in his electrical supply distribution center. Randy’s eye for safety in the workplace prompted swift action to inspect and replace damaged uprights, beams and pallet rack guards.
W.W. Cannon’s installation team, led by J.R. Mounger quickly tackled the job to secure anchors, tighten down shelves, replace old, damaged pallet rack guards with new, more efficient rack guards (Bluff Manufacturing). Current shelving and a total of seven uprights were replaced throughout the 100,000 sq. ft. facility in just 1 ½ days.
While on site, The Reynolds Company lost no productivity during W.W. Cannon’s inspection or install time.
